Gerrard's eldest daughter, Lilly-Ella, 21, has given birth to a baby girl, officially making the ex-Liverpool midfielder a grandparent at the age of 45. Lilly-Ella has been with her boyfriend, Lee Byrne, since 2022.

Lilly-Ella posted a black-and-white picture on Instagram showing Byrne carrying their newborn out of the hospital, with the caption: "2 becomes 3."

Gerrard travelled back to England once his daughter announced her pregnancy, having worked as Al-Ettifaq manager in Saudi Arabia beforehand. Now, he works primarily as a pundit for TNT Sports.
